Yes- ones that are supposedly stronger than usual.

Here, a pretty bad thunderstorm just passed.

We got heavy gusts of wind, jellybean-sized hail and heavy rain.

actually, we (meaning the wife and I) will be fine...some areas get hit really bad though.
and the hotel I work at has a history of flooding too, although it's usually caused by other things, not the rising rivers.

last year the lounge (which is in the basement) had to actually throw people out that wouldn't leave, despite being knee-deep in water that had backed up from a sewer...

Wow that has a hairy night!

The area I lived in we were spared, but one went over where I worked, so I'll know if I have a place to go back to work Monday. The computers are still up, so that is a good sign I feel.

Some of my co workers are from the area the tornadoes touched down in Gallitan and Goodlettsville (North of Nashville). One for sure received from pretty fair hail damage (which you would expect from softball sized hail stones).

Hopefully it will be a couple of qiet weeks with the weather, the past two have been enough for this state and others.
